The million dollar question is: What is the best recipe to make Calçots Sauce?

My answer is always the same, the better and tastier the ingredients, the better the sauce. Once you have a good base, changing it too much can make it worse.

The most used ingredients to make the Calçots Sauce are as follows.

  • Almonds, ñora peppers, garlic, tomato, chilli, olive oil, parsley, vinegar, stale bread and salt.

There are people who add mint to refresh the sauce a little but it is not common and also a little Cocoa.

What ingredients do you add?

We already know what it is the Best Calçots Sauce.
