We're bringing Can Pepitu's recipes to Calsotada.com 😉

I still remember as a child when my grandmother made me this cake and I ate them in no time.

Well in “Can Pepitu” when we have guests it is a cake that can never be missed. Although after a few Calçots it's hard to get a piece of this delicious cake in, but after a few hours, at snack time with a very warm coffee, it's another story.  And when you try it, it is impossible not to repeat it or take a whole one home.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pack of Philadelphia cream cheese
  • 3 natural yogurts
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons of flour
  • 10-15 teaspoons of sugar ( adjust to your preferred sweetness)
  • A little piece of Butter.

How to prepare:

We turn on the oven at 200ºC to preheat it.

In a bowl we beat the three eggs, once well beaten we add the sugar and flour since this way we will avoid lumps.

When we have a homogeneous paste we add the 3 yogurts and the Philadelphia package.

Stir until smooth, then pour the batter into a tin greased with butter to prevent sticking.

Put it in the oven and reduce the temperature to 180ºC.

We wait about 25-30 minutes. To check whether it is ready, insert a wooden toothpick or knife: if it comes out clean, the cake is ready.

We let it cool a little and put it in the refrigerator.

And ready!
