According to the regulatory body of the Calçot (IGP) the recommended spacing for planting calçot onion bulbs is:
- 50cm between rows
- 30cm between bulb and bulb of each row.
I personally make the 50 cm separation a little longer, around 65–70 cm, to leave more soil for earthing up.
