Now that the cold is starting, between olive trees we clear our minds for a while planting garlic, the usual ones. 😉

My first idea was to look for some very cheap and pretty garlic to use as a seedling, but… the voice of experience told me that: No way Xeic, you need garlic intended for planting, or you may get strange results.
Well nothing, I went to buy purple garlic for planting and to plant it was said:
- 1º we take the head of garlic.

- 2º Separate the bulb into individual cloves. If they aren't firm and healthy-looking, don't plant them: nothing will grow.

- 3º Place each clove with its pointed tip up and its base down.

- 4º we plant it and water it. (mine are not the straight ones by eye! haha)

We will have to wait until San Juan more or less to collect them, so we will see the evolution little by little.
The planting distances I used are 10cm x 15cm which I think is enough for good development.
Likewise, this plant also looks good to be grown at home. 😉 we will plant 1.5kg this year and see how many we collect.
