A few days ago I talked about which chainsaw to buy, just when my whole family gave me one for my birthday. 😛

After a week of using it, I leave you my impressions, when I can I will post some photos, which are cool for a while.

  • Quality: I've tried plenty of no-name brands in my time, and this one really does feel sturdier, easier to use and better in every respect.
  • Power: I don't know whether the other saws were poorly sharpened, but this one cuts like a knife through butter. I had a walnut trunk about 25 cm across to cut, and it felt like cutting foam.
  • Startup: Three pulls and the engine is running.

In short, if you buy a chainsaw, save a little more and buy a good chainsaw.

Now I'm getting through the first few tanks of fuel, which according to the Stihl company I have to do 10 for the engine to show its maximum power, I am waiting for a farmer friend to tell me why he has to clean an almond field. 😛 Firewood for this approaching cold.
